Wandlungen einer Staatsverfassung

In the three quarters of a century since it came into force, the Basic Law has undergone many changes, reflecting the development of the state it created, the Federal Republic of Germany. The attempt to evaluate this in a focused manner and to draw initial conclusions is limited to individual aspects such as citizens' satisfaction with the constitution, its general comprehensibility, the possible stimulation of its adaptations, or its openness to democracy.
