Wissensmanagement und Wissenstransfer

Knowledge management and knowledge transfer are not new topics for the public sector. Nevertheless, these areas have not been addressed satisfactorily, let alone organized optimally. On the contrary, an empirical study conducted by the Rectors' Conference of Universities for Public Administration and the Joint Municipal Agency for Administrative Management has identified significant untapped potential. These key findings form the basis for this edited volume, which derives its value—beyond the study results themselves—from the complementary perspectives provided by both practitioners and academics. The contributions highlight future potential in selected areas and outline how this can be realized through ambitious implementation.
