Already today, numerous activities that were once reserved for humans are being performed by AI systems. Because the German Civil Code in its original conception links legal consequences to human actions, numerous problems arise from the use of AI systems. In this paper, the effects of the use of AI systems on selected issues of knowledge attribution were investigated. It could be established that AI systems can be considered as subjects of attribution for civil law knowledge in the subjective and normative sense and that they can be integrated into the existing concepts of classical and judgmental knowledge attribution.
