The statements deal with legal provisions and their application over a period of several decades. They concern the fall of the GDR and the accession of the re-established East German states, the differences in state liability in East and West and the lack of acceptance of the continued existence of a legal district in the East. The inadvisable direct election of the Federal President, the constitutional requirement to preserve human dignity during pandemic measures and the explosive increase in housing rents due to misuse of the rent index are discussed in detail. From his personal point of view, the author discusses the legal viability of contrary interpretations of the law without calling on the legislator.
