Die zib versteht sich als zentrales Forum der deutschsprachigen Disziplin, in dem eine Vielfalt an Perspektiven präsentiert und diskutiert werden.
Die zib wird herausgegeben im Namen der Sektion Internationale Beziehungen der Deutschen Vereinigung für Politikwissenschaft (DVPW). Alle Beiträge werden doppelt anonym begutachtet.
