Zivilrecht der Tokenisierung

This book systematizes the various forms of tokenization—that is, the representation of assets as blockchain tokens—and classifies them under German civil law. The focus is on a detailed civil law analysis of claim and property tokenization. The author demonstrates that current German civil law can largely resolve the issues arising in tokenization practice satisfactorily, although there are significant differences depending on the structure of the tokenization model (tokenized asset; eWpG or mere security tokens). The analysis is practice-oriented, as the legal examination is based on real-world examples and incorporates blockchain technology.
