Zwischen Heimatschutz und Klimaleugnung

What environmental and climate policies do Germany’s far-right parties pursue—and why? This study offers readers a comprehensive analysis of this little-studied field. Using quantitative and qualitative methods, it examines party programs and VAA data to reveal ideological patterns, populist arguments, and nationalist framings. The results show an ambivalent approach to environmental and climate issues: while the former is often nationally charged, the latter remains selective and contested. The study is aimed at researchers and readers interested in the far right, political parties, and political ideologies.
