Higher education colleges that specialise in training their students to work in public services are increasingly demonstrating themselves to be academically distinguished institutions, at which students are also excelling. After the establishment of national awards for outstanding academic dissertations in 2017, this anthology aims to be the first to accurately reflect the growing number of applications to such institutions.
Numerous aspects of public service organisations are prominently represented in the anthology, from the creation of key performance indicators in evaluations of smart cities to the freedom of religion in public services and the evaluation of language assistance devices as a new approach to conducting police investigations. The innovative subjects the students address with great meticulousness, dedication and, finally, success in their dissertations are particularly noteworthy—not least because they are a clear indication of these colleges’ productivity and excellence.
