Handlungskompetenz in der Pflegeausbildung fördern

To provide professional and holistic nursing care, nursing training needs to be process oriented. However, a shortage of skilled workers and the lack of a vocational training structure is inhibiting this. For this reason, in this book Christina Filipe and Sandra Wöbeking develop a training unit that aims at promoting trainees' ability to act independently and thus enable process-oriented nursing care. In this way, it may also be possible to meet the instruction time required by the ‘Pflegeberufegesetz’ (Germany’s law on nursing professions). To this end, the authors compare three existing training units and, supplemented with practical experience, develop a concept that emphasises cooperation in the learning process.
