Hybride Arbeitsmärkte

Focusing on the digital transformation in the publishing industry, this book analyses changes in work organisation as well as the use of internal and external labour markets. It shows that the boundaries between internal and external labour markets are becoming blurred, resulting in the establishment of so-called ‘Hybrid Labour Markets’. Beyond the publishing industry, the establishment of such labour markets for other industries and sectors is discussed. The book thus calls the basic assumptions of classical and current segmentation theories into question.
