Kultur im Recht - Recht als Kultur

The collection of the contributions of the 9th Heidelberger Kunstrechtstags deals under the general theme “culture in law – law as culture” with fundamental issues of art trade, protection of cultural property and current developments in the fields of art law and art procedural law, further with philosophical and sociological fundamental issues on law as subject to cultural studies: legal issues of art trade by the example of studio sales and studio pictures, reasons for procedural difficulties for artists, status quo and outlook after 20 years of UNIDROIT-Convention, the draft of a new Act to Protect German Cultural Property, what the arts can learn from the law and what the law can learn from the arts, colour and colourfulness of law, images and the tools of law and limited editions in contemporary photographic art.
