Mitarbeiterbeteiligung als Baustein der Unternehmensfinanzierung

Small and medium-sized companies often face only limited access to capital markets. This structural disadvantage in corporate financing leads to them engaging in a permanent search for alternative sources of financing. This book examines the conditions that must be met in order for employees’ financial participation schemes to represent such an alternative and to contribute to greater diversification of the financing strategies of small and medium-sized enterprises. For this purpose, this study develops a building block model, which, if applied consistently, combines the financial advantages of employees’ financial participation with the subsidies of state development institutions. The aim of this book is to give new impetus to the discussion on the further spread of employees’ financial participation in Germany from an entrepreneurial perspective.
