Details
Cooperative societies play an extremely important role in the formation of local communities. Not only do they influence the individual structure of organised self-help in democratic self-government, but at the same time they shape the understanding of a community as a civic ‘polis’, a successful example of mutual togetherness. From an anthropological perspective, a cooperative society’s form stands for the idea of an eternal truth because through it humans develop their personality as the telos of global history. In this way, conducting a human existence acquires a personal design. This book outlines the metaphysical nature of cooperative societies as a representation of human beings’ true form, that is, as people, in terms of cultural history.
