Nachhaltigkeitsmanagement und Nachhaltigkeitsberichterstattung öffentlicher Unternehmen

Although public enterprises are tradtionally characterized by a particular affinity to the issues of sustainability management, information on its development and organisation in public enterprises, the objectives pursued, the practice of reporting, and how its performance is measured are quite scarce.
This publication contributes to close this currently existing knowledge and research gap in this field of study by presenting the results of conceptional and empricial studies on the status quo of the sustainability management and reporting of public enterprises of study conducted over a period oft wo years by the research group „Sustainability in public enterprises“ oft he scientific council of the Bundesverband Öffentliche Dienstleistungen/Federal Association Public Services.
