Russland und Europa – Mythos oder Logos?

The struggle between myth and logos determines all forms of politics. But on what does its outcome depend? Russia and Europe provide an unparalleled example here, because at first glance the two oppose each other like myth and logos. Enlightenment came from the West, Russia resisted. However, Russia has implemented some forms of rational orientation quite successfully (secularisation), others not at all (fighting corruption). This study traces the course of the conflict between myth and logos from the Middle Ages to the present.
