The work provides solutions for accelerating expert evidence that have been reviewed in discussions with German practitioners and that result from the "best practices" of international legal systems.
Expert evidence is one of the main factors for lengthy civil proceedings. Previous reform efforts have always resulted in changes to the law mainly to the detriment of the experts. Therefore, in this work, specific recommendations for action and improvement are made nationally, with the support of an empirical survey of persons in the relevant professional groups involved in civil litigation, and internationally, through comparison with faster legal systems.
