Die Umsetzung von Compliance-Richtlinien in internationalen Sportverbänden und die rechtliche Wirkung für deren nationale Mitglieder

Compliance in sports is often not considered as a priority, especially not in international sports associations. Therefore, the author first examines the extent to which a compliance obligation exists for these associations and how it is implemented, using the example of the football associations FIFA and DFB. The author then analyses the extent to which the FIFA Compliance Guidelines can be applicable for the DFB and its member clubs. For an effective reference to the statutes within the association pyramid, the author develops a permissible dynamic reference to the statutes. Finally, the author evaluates the results of a compliance questionnaire in which clubs of the 1st, 2nd Bundesliga and 3rd German Division participated.
