SONA. Wege finden

The German system of social security and protection is highly fragmented. There is a need for more information, orientation und transparency. Particularly in the context of demographic change and because of social inequality, there is a special need to cope with the social challenges it poses. This study is an evaluation of a project in Mühlheim an der Ruhr which was realised in cooperation with the local social policy of the municipality’s public administration authority. The analysis is organised as a qualitative design. Volunteers were deployed to advise and guide mostly elderly people, the project’s main target group, living in their social environment.
