Anlegerschutz durch Produkt- und Anlegerklassifizierung in England und Deutschland

This work examines in a comparative legal manner the protection of investors created by product and investor classification in investment law in England and Germany. It shows that, depending on the degree of regulation of the investment products, highly regulated investment products are accessible to the entire investor public, whereas other, less regulated investment products are only open to certain qualified investor groups. These access restrictions are enforced on the one hand in England by so-called promotion restrictions, in Germany by sales restrictions and purchase restrictions.
