In the coming years, numerous transport authorities are going to order public transport services in order to secure their existence and thus, adequate transport offers. As far as no direct appointments are permissible and intended, this raises complex issues in the conflict area of passenger transport law and procurement law as well as the regulation (EG) No. 1370/2007. In view of the possibilities of utilization of legal protection, finding an answer is essential. This conference transcript analyses these questions, taking into account the present experiences and case law, and combines scholarly and practical perspectives.
