Physical activity and games can offer a variety of learning oppotunities in daycare. In younger years especially, children learn through movement, and active team games do not only prepare for future sports, but also supports the notion of teamplay. The present work is as well a theoretical overview as it is a practical manual for daycare centers to focus on learning with and through movement. In a playful, age-appropriate manner, children acquire core skills preparing them for school.
