The Jahrbuch Bodendenkmalpflege in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern is the scientific journal of the state archaeology of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. It regularly publishes short reports on finds, which give a comprehensive overview of excavations and new discoveries made by volunteer archaeologists. The yearbook also contains articles on new conservation and scientific findings. In this way, experts and volunteer archaeologists are kept informed of new finds and research results. The yearbook has been published annually since 1953 and is part of many scientific libraries in Germany and abroad.
