Details
The principle of uniform application of European Community law in the Member States is of fundamental importance for the EC. National courts accomplish an essential function according the implementation of Community competition rules. It is necessary to analyse the decisions of national courts or administrative bodies in order to see how far Community law principles are correctly applied or – in particular as a consequence of the influence of national legal conceptions – are distorted. A judgement on these questions presupposes a knowledge of the legal background in the Member States as well as a detailed analysis of national court and administrative decisions. For this purpose the Institute for Integration Research of the Europa-Kolleg Hamburg is carrying through a research project based on national reports which are published as soon as they are completed. This volume contains the reports on Danemark, Sweden, Finland and Austria.
