Fallverstehen, Begegnung und Verständigung

Staufen in Baden-Württemberg and Lüdge in North Rhine-Westphalia stand for the biggest youth welfare scandals of recent years. This book is dedicated to the question of how this can be stopped and the answers to it. The aim is to increase professional expertise in child protection. A pattern of action suitable for this purpose, discovered in our own research, is presented. These results were obtained in the course of a nationwide research project that lasted twelve years. Project leader was the author, at that time a clinical sociologist at the Friedrich Schiller University in Jena. This book is aimed at professionals in youth welfare, social pedagogy, law enforcement and medicine - also at those with political responsibility.
