Feminizid

The term "feminicide" attempts to visualise the structural dimension of gender-related killings of women and girls. For some years now, the terms "femicide" and "feminicide" have been used in legal contexts as well. The book provides a legal definition of the term "feminicide" and drafts a legal framework for it. It examines which phenomena are (or can be) described as feminicides, which legal framework exists for these crimes and how a responsibility for feminicides under international criminal law might look like. In doing so, it also explores the question of how structural and intersectional violence in general can be depicted in legal terms, especially under international criminal law.
