Forum Mergers & Acquisitions 2025

Mergers and acquisitions are an extraordinarily relevant topic for both theory and practice. In order to foster an interdisciplinary discourse on this subject, the M&A Alumni Deutschland e.V. launched the series of conferences entitled “Mergers & Acquisitions im Spannungsfeld der Rechts- und Wirtschaftswissenschaften – Aktuelle Erkenntnisse aus Forschung und Praxis” (“Economic and Legal Issues of Mergers & Acquisitions—Recent Insights from Theory and Practice”). The seventh conference produced contributions in which lawyers and economists critically examined the topic.
Prof. Dr Jutta Stumpf-Wollersheim is a professor of international management and corporate strategy at Technische Universität Bergakademie in Freiberg and Prof. Dr Andreas Horsch is a professor of investment and finance at the same university.
