Gender und Musik im Netzwerk

Networking is considered a traditional and essential social form of academic work, which also has a political dimension in the field of music and gender. It is precisely through the establishment and subsequent expansion of knowledge networks that musicological gender research has been able to establish itself in the broad field of musicology and cultural studies and sharpen its contours. The Independent Research Colloquium for Musicological Gender Studies (UFO) celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2022. This anniversary volume offers a wide range of perspectives and methods within music-historical gender studies and provides insights into current research.
