Identität und Weltfähigkeit

The relationship between matters of idproduct and complex global transformations have rarely been as controversial as during the second decade of the 21st century. Clarifications on idproduct matters have been and remain at the core of multiple crises in the process of European integration. At the same time, the EU has been challenged to develop and implement more robust strategic thinking, and many debates continue in new forms in this respect. The scholarly articles, essays and opinions of the ZEI director Prof. Ludger Kühnhardt, which are compiled in this volume, were written between 2010 and 2020. They recall a decade of debate and experience, while, at the same time, contributing to the emerging historiography of the EU and its global relevance.
