In order to meet the demands of modern management, it is often necessary to adapt management methods. While new working practices are accepted without any problems, employees are usually very reluctant to change their attitude and behaviour towards a new corporate culture, thus slowing down sustainable changes. Based on the introduction of the Kaizen leadership concept, Wieland Boss shows the background to this hesitant behaviour, analyses the added value of this concept and works out the significance of the employees' mindset for cultural change. The results of the study motivate the increased pursuit of modern concepts in corporate management.
