Leidenschaft und Augenmaß

In this Festschrift for Harald Fuhr, colleagues and associates from various stages of his career address a vast array of topics relating to three main subject areas from a social sciences perspective. 1) Under the heading ‘Entwicklung und Verwaltung’ (Development and Administration), a series of contributions examine how Harald Fuhr deals with the questions of how development is promoted, how injustices are remedied and how administrative bodies can contribute in these respects on a local, national and global level. 2) Contributions which, either together with Harald Fuhr or in mutual inspiration, address the question of how regional and global environmental changes can be responded to or counteracted fall under the heading ‘Umwelt und Klima’ (The Environment and Climate). Under the third and final heading of ‘Praxis’ (Practice), the reader will find a range of information that is relevant in terms of practice—Harald Fuhr’s more or less secret passion in his long-standing career as an academic and professor in the field of international politics.
