University students – young adults – with dyslexia: What kind of support is adequate and possible? In addition to the disorder condition the scientific-empirical study comprehensively discusses research- but also practice-oriented diagnostic possibilities and requirements in adulthood, especially for obtaining disadvantage compensation in universities, possible and adequate disadvantage compensation, support possibilities during study and also directs the view to other necessary support measures by the universities. A comprehensive best practice analysis, both nationally and internationally, and the results from the surveys combine and provide further guidance with regard to inclusion. Universities and their examination offices, counseling centers, researchers and teaching staff in higher education, those working in the field, but also students themselves will get a deeper view about problems and possible solutions that emerge when studying with dyslexia.
