Mechanismen des zivilprozessualen kollektiven Rechtsschutzes in Deutschland und Brasilien

The Book is dedicated to the comparison between the legal systems of Germany and Brazil with regard to collective redress through civil procedure. The author examines and compares the types of proceedings and procedural techniques that have been developed in both countries for the two dimensions of collective redress, namely the civil procedural enforcement of indivisible supra-individual interests and the joint enforcement of individual rights. With regard to the joint enforcement of individual rights, the author evaluates the available instruments, as well as the latest and planned legislation of both countries and makes proposals de lege lata.
