Description
Digitization affects the law not only because it gives rise to new issues that need to be regulated. Rather, it is also crucial that fundamental legal principles may be transformed by the fact that the programming of digital actors leads to a temporal advance of human decisions that are relevant to legal interests. In addition, questions arise as to whether robots or digital machines can apply legal norms and violate legal norms. Closely related to this is the question of how programming machines can be reconstructed in terms of norm theory. These and other questions are the subject of the contributions collected in this volume.
