Philosophy - Globalization and Intercultural Understanding

The rapid change of our present ways of life is related to the fast changes in the scientific and technological world and its frequent innovations. Philosophy answers this challenge of the ever-changing world by searching for intercultural understanding in a globalized world. There can be no doubt that philosophy can promote intercultural thinking, decision-making and action taking, but more effort is necessary to implement this philosophical capability in children's learning and living environment. How can we prepare children to live in a global world? Can we learn to live together in a world of cultural diversity by doing philosophy?
