Rechtsterrorismus in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland

This book primarily compares newer right-wing terrorist groups in Germany, like the ‘National Socialist Underground’ (NSU), with other groups that have existed since the late 1960s. It focuses on the ideology, structures and strategical action of 12 groups. Furthermore, the author reveals the evolution of right-wing terrorism in Germany and a wide range of internal and external criteria that have had an influence on this milieu (e.g. the offensive state policy of banning parties). He also provides insights into handling current threats from strategies that have been used to fight right-wing terrorism in the past. Sebastian Gräfe works as an academic assistant at the Hannah Arendt Institute for Research on Totalitarianism at Dresden University. His main research interests are left-wing and right-wing extremism, terrorism, politically motivated crimes and hate crimes.
