This study places special emphasis on an important issue that has been neglected for a long time: the architecture of pan-African peace and security, including multifaceted challenges in this respect at both the national and regional levels.
Comprised of one lead article and nine case studies, this book provides critical insights into both European and African policy approaches to the issue in question and puts forward a number of policy suggestions. In so doing, it is aimed at political scientists from the realm of international relations and peace and conflict research, experts on Europe and Africa, and everyone with a keen interest in African affairs.
