Terrorismusstrafrecht in Indien

As India likes to be called the world largest democracy it is particularly interesting how India is managing terrorism. One important angle is the use of law to tackle terrorism. Traditional and modern conflicts have shaped the Indian Anti-Terrorism-Laws. Drawing ones attention to the background, guidelines and case law this work will provide a comprehensive insight into Indian Terrorism Law as well as Indian Criminal Law. Special jurisdiction, shifted burden of proof, prolonged detention orders are some features which come along with the introduction of Anti-Terrorism-Laws in India. Contributing to Comparative Law and South Asian Studies this study also sheds light on some aspects of Indian Legal History.
