Über das Unbehagen am Klassischen

There are classics of pedagogy, secret classics and those that are not and probably never will be. There are also unknown classics in other cultures and unknown sides of well-known classics. Finally, there are fundamental classical problems in pedagogy. This volume explores the topic of classics and classics in education in eleven contributions.
In addition to two systematic contributions – one on general pedagogy and one on media pedagogy – Friedrich Gedike, Arthur Schopenhauer, Friedrich Schleiermacher, Motomori Kimura, Begum Rokeya, Klaus Prange and Rudolph Zacharias Becker are included as examples, as well as the classical phenomena of failure, expressivity, showing, health, and the question “What is man?”
