Description
The book deals with fundamental questions of administrative procedure in the European composite administration. In a transdisciplinary dialogue between jurisprudence and legal practice, the Europeanisation of administrative procedural law is outlined and the chances of a codification of administrative procedural law at the EU level are explored. The significance of German and European fundamental rights as well as the principles of effectiveness and efficiency for administrative procedures are then discussed. Finally, current developments in the area of procedural errors and electronic communication by the administration are addressed. The book is part of a series dedicated to the transdisciplinary dialogue between legal scholarship and legal practice on fundamental legal problems in the European Composite Administration.
