The series publishes academic works that analyse and conceptually develop the digital transformation of social work. In addition to technical requirements and digital infrastructures, the focus is primarily on their social, ethical, professional and subject-related implications – for example, in questions of power and inequality, participation and inclusion, responsibility and professionalism.
In addition to outstanding dissertations, the series also includes monographs, anthologies and conference proceedings. Empirically based and theoretically reflective contributions from national and international contexts that critically classify digitalisation and digitality in social work and open up perspectives for research, teaching and practice are welcome.
