This Festschrift will appeal to not only all those interested in art, but also lawyers, art man-agers and art historians. Several of the articles it contains focus on whether the law takes art into consideration appropriately, while others address the new German Cultural Property Protection Act (KGSG), the law governing art academies and the relationship between art and the law in general. Subdivided into four sections under the heading art, law, science and management the Festschrift also contains artistic contributions in both written and pictorial form, ranging from an essay by the writer Spinnen to contributions by the visual artists Tony Cragg, Benjamin Houlihan, Mischa Kuball, Maria R. López Blanes, Markus Lüpertz, Christian Megert, Dieter Rübsaamen and Thomas Wachholz.
