National wertvolles Kulturgut

Nationally valuable cultural goods embody aspects of our culture and history. The Cultural Property Protection Act regulates their protection and the associated legal consequences, such as the fact that they may no longer be permanently exported abroad.
The subject of the study is the list principle, which is decisive for the determination of nationally valuable cultural goods. By being entered in a list, they are subject to the protection provisions.
The study deals with the question of which criteria a cultural good must fulfill in order to be included in such a list.
On this basis, the work develops criteria for legal practice. It is to be understood as a contribution for legal practitioners from the executive and judiciary, but also for norm addressees, e.g. private owners of cultural property.
