Equality-Oriented Policies (EOP) – Gleichheitsorientierte Politiken

Equality has a long history—as a category of normative thinking, as the subject of empirical research and as the goal of political action. This series focuses on how this goal is pursued by examining ‘equality-oriented policies’, the tools they employ, whom they are aimed at, the players involved, the premise on which they are based and their effects. The widespread awareness of persistent and even increasing inequality worldwide has heightened the need for systematic research from this perspective. This series collates academic studies with different formats, disciplinary approaches and a regional focus.
